PRIVACY POLICY

We do not disseminate any information we verify or collect except as in the terms detailed by PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and allowed by law between bona fide parties, agencies, corporations or individuals within the terms of PIPEDA.

Information will only be used for the specific purposes for which it is provided, collected or as authorized by law. We recognize and welcome our obligation to comply with the provisions of PIPEDA and this policy is subject to that obligation.

We will, therefore, disclose information, in response to a request as required by PIPEDA, or if we believe it is necessary to protect an individual’s safety.

Investigative Body Status – We are members of the Council of Private Investigators – Ontario.  As such we are designated as an “Investigative Body” in terms of PIPEDA and are therefore bound by the requirements and duties under that statute and entitled to function as an Investigative Body in terms of the statute.
